Roskilde Festival 2010
I'm at a very hot festival. And I'm blue as well. Not the moody kind of not-happy-blue - my skin is blue, mostly my back now.
Yesterday I attended a party in a camp where everybody were painted blue in honor of Jørgen Leth (hence the name of the camp, CampLeth), we got drunk and took a tour around the festival challenging everybody to dance-offs.
Actually I'm working for the official newspaper at this years Roskilde Festival, but today is my day off, so I decided to join the fun out there and went all in with the beers, the whisky and the warm and bubbly champagne.
Hung over and with spots of blue paint still on my skin, my hat, my shoes and my underwear, this day is for resting them old dance legs, and tomorrow I'll continue the fun of shooting liberated, drunk and happy people in the midst of this fantastic festival.
visit Roskilde-festival.dk for loads of photos.
Here are some of mine
Everlast Spring Collection 2010 – The Images
Okay, I couldn't keep them to myself any longer. There are still a few left in the to-be-edited-bucket, but I really needed to flash these to you.
And here's the fantastic team
Make sure to check out the BTS-images (behind the scenes) and information about the crew right HERE

Shooting the Economy
I mostly do photo shoots for musicians, some fashion and commercial stuff, so when a colleague of mine set me up with two economical advisers, i was somewhat exited and intimidated about entering a relatively conservative domain of photography. I have a tendency to photoshop my images' ass off whenever possible, but these kinds of photos needed a somewhat more delicate and neat approach.
So my assistant of the day, Aske and I met up with the two soon-to-be-awesome-business-models at their office. I had had a meeting with them previously and they seemed very aware of the conservatism surrounding photos like this but also wanted to move out of the box a bit. Since it was my first time doing photos like this, I was kinda eager to actually do these neat looking, but well-known business portraits, so I guess we found a middle ground.
Below you can see some of the photos that were delivered to them, mixed up with a few behind-the-scenes shots by Aske.
I was asked to do some photos without any people - photos that said "Future" - that's the landscape thingy i've edited beyond recognition.
Black and White Fashion
It's been a while since I've done fashion shootings - it seems I'm getting more and more music portraits and such.
But each time Patricia Maja Andersen calls, I know that it's time to dig up the old fashion mind and dress up for some shooting with awesome makeup, styling and models.
Patricia is the stylist I've worked with the longest, and is probably the most versatile. She does awesome stylings, great hair and great makeup - and that's about as much as I ask for during shoots. (She did the hair and makeup for the upcoming Women's boxing Event).
Back to the story - Patricia called and asked me if I could do a shooting the day after, and needless to say, there was a rush getting the final images as well. Owing her for saving my ass like 20 times, I moved a couple of appointments and did the shooting a Monday evening.
The photos were to be used for some sort of Job interview (I don't know the exact details), but we did the shots and had to choose 1 with the model wearing a t-shirt with the statement "A question of organs a question of Life".
Here are some of the photos - the one in the t-shirt, and a few for the models herself - and a single one drawn out to see the setup in my home studio.
Everlast – The Video Teaser
Henry, my beloved video master, decided to make haste of a small teaser video, and here it is:
Everlast – Boxing event in Copenhagen (BTS)
I think i just made that up - BTS (Behind the Scenes). Well whether I did or not, I'm definitely gonna use that term from now on.
This saturday, 14 good ladies and gentlemen were gathered a whole day with the sole purpose of having a blast while shooting my annual big photo event.
The theme was Women's Boxing, and four of the foxiest brunettes I could find jumped into some neat and tight clothes from Everlast (who sponsored our shoot) and got ready to amaze us all.
The crew persisted of:
Ida Johanne Randal - Model
Josephine Malmberg - Model
May-britt Trontveit - Model
Arbenita Ferizi - Model
Aske Rif torbensen - Assistant, Photographer and Blue ring corner/coach
Henry Büchmann - Master of video photography
Casper - Second captain of the video team.
Aziz Andaloussi - Assistant, announcer and good looking
Patricia Maja Andersen - Makeup and styling
Troels Weinreich - Assistant, photographer and Red corner/coach
Frank Visler - Master of gear, assisting me with all the technical hassles one does encounter on such a day
Jon Hvidtfeldt - Assistant and coffee brewer
Mallek - Meanest little boxer in town
And shout out to Casper Laursen at Deres who got us in contact with Everlast, Aage music for letting us rent a microphone and Ida Juul Farver for letting us use The Rock as a safe house during the storm.
Following people from the years before were dearly missed:
Christian Colding
Michael Flarup
Bertil Melhof
Anders Drejer Madsen
During the day, a lot of backstage footage was made, especially by Frank Visler, whose photos can be seen below. Take a quick tour to see what did happen behind the scenes that day, and think of it as a teaser to what will come soon - in edited form.
Spartans and amazons – the video
My dear old friend Henry Büchmann has appearently started digging up old recordings of my previous photo events. 3 weeks ago I received the video from the Freak Wedding, and now he just sent me a 8 minute long cut video from the first photo Event. That being said, tomorrow, we are doing it again in central Copenhagen - be prepared for sexy boxers.
Be sure to check out the:
Mikkel Mund – press photos
Danish rapper from the old rap crew "Rent Mel" got signed with Cocoon Music some time ago. I've been working with Cocoon Music for a few months now, so last month, they sent Mikkel to the studio for some quick press photos for the medias. Being an intelligent rapper with lyrics with actual meaning and substance, Mikkel wanted plain b/w photos showing him as he is, and nothing more - no bling bling, no fancy editing, just a photo. And that we did.
At the moment he's on the Boogie list where you guys can vote on his excellent track "Giv mig ikke skylden for dine fucked up børn" (Don't blame me for your fucked up kids) - all you have to do is push the little heart next to him.
Glamour session with Ida

Some time ago I posted that I was going to shoot with Ida, whom you might know from a number of M! covers, and this past weekend, we finally did the shooting.
The settings was my parents house up north, actually their bathroom which have a very nice built in bathtub.
I had agreed that my mom (who has recently finished her style coach education) should do the makeup for the shot, and Ida arrived as planned.
1½ hours later, Ida was ready for the shooting, and it went as smooth as the images might signal.
Make sure to drop by stylist Ulla Sunds own site.
