Michael Bang, Kira Eggers and I
A week ago or so, Michael Bang called me and gave me an offer I couldn't refuse.
The 14. of May, Mr. Bang will be doing one of his great and always sold out workshops where he discusses and shows lighting, business and work with live models.
To spice up things, he's invited the danish celebrity model Kira Eggers, who will be telling about modelling, the business, how good photographers work and so on.
I've been invited to do a walkthrough of my workflow in Photoshop to add the final flavour of what seems to be an awesome day.

And oh yeah - you can actually win free access to the workshop right here:

Rebound Rubies – final press photos
A while back, I did a 12-hour photo shoot with the newly Sony signed band Rebound Rubies - you might remember the behind-the-scenes material from this post and a few of the final images. The thing is, those images, were not the only ones we had to shoot that day. the images you find in that previous post, was only for the JBS campaign.
The rest of the day was dedicated to shooting press material for the band. The theme was super hero posters (which I had absolutely NO influence on, what so ever.. At all)
We shot ALOT of images that day, in numerous outfits, and I've finally been given the green light to show these images, I've spend days in and days out editing. Besides the fact that it took ages to apply the effects, the hardest part was coming up with super hero skill sets that I could actually display. I consider myself a decent photoshopper, but this time I was really put to the test. The final image with them, walking on the street, is without the special effects, that was originally made. We're talking burning arms, icy foot prints, laser shooting eyes and stuff.
The band, ended up deciding that we could probably turn down the whole X-men thing down a notch, so we ended up with this, which I am so very proud to present.
And here are the rest:
Beauty makeup and photography

I've worked with Mia Thielsen, silver medalist in the European Championships in makeup (only beaten by this guy) on a couple of occasions and in January, she asked if I wanted to do some beauty shots of some lips. She would bring the girls - all I had to do was shoot the images. So one friday evening, she showed up with 3 lovely models, who would later be victimized by Mia and Myself. If it looks like green slime, it probably is - there is not signifigant post production here.
Mia Thielsen used Glo Minerals, which has later contacted us and requested the images for print.
Oh yeah, and here's what happens when a photo session gets spiced up with a little bit of Rum and a makeup artist behind the camera.
